They steal my idea
Hey Reader,
As you might already know, I'm building a SaaS.
But I'm not doing it in public as usual.
As a slow shipper, I'm worried about talking openly about my progress.
Several competitors have already taken over that space, and I don't want to give them an assist for a feature they haven't thought of before.
Competing on speed is a minefield. They will steal the idea and knock me out in a blink of an eye.
As the time to market decreased, it's easier and more accessible for people to copy and build the same thing.
That's why I settled midway between hiding in the cave and going all out in public.
Hence…
I'm building my first SaaS in the shadows 🥷
Talking about it but not showing the steps. Moving like a ninja.
Asking people in private.
Eventually, it will get out, but I don't want to give them any advantage before I'm ready.
Because no one wants to end up like James.
I found interesting and you might too:
